Trina O-Boyle Bio
Trina O’Boyle has lived in the Philadelphia area for 3 years. Before settling in the city of brotherly love, she has lived in South Florida, London England and grew up in Michigan. Before starting O’Boy! Organic Trina taught Montessori preschool and Kindergarten for 12 years. As a former school teacher, she would cook with her school children and teach them the benefits of eating healthy foods. It not only gets them involved with what they are eating, but it also helps with the development of fine motor skills, it boosts self confidence, and it helps create the foundation for a healthy and nutritious lifestyle.
Besides starting O’Boy! Organic in January in 2010 Trina is the Vice President of Membership for her local MOMS Club. She also has volunteered for the Fairmount Park Conservancy, Women’s Water Works Celebration and Freedom Playground. You can also find Trina at HappyFamily Organics as their BLOG and Facebook Editor.
Trina is the proud mother of two healthy boys: Finnegan 3 years and Jackson 5 years. She makes sure she fills their daily diets with healthy, organic foods free of pesticides and preservatives. Eating this way would help support the natural progress of their still developing little bodies without polluting it with chemicals that could be harmful to their development. Trina feels that if we start our children on the right path of eating healthy then as they grow those healthy eating habits will stay with them for years to come.
Trina has a love for gardening and getting her children involved in the whole process, from picking out the seeds for that year’s crop, weeding the garden and best of all harvesting the crops at the end of the season.
