Children’s Hooded Sweatshirts Recalled

Hot Kids Sweatshirt RecallMejoong Corpo, dba Hot Kids, has announce a voluntary recall of approximately 18,000 children’s hooded sweatshirts and jackets because the drawstring through the hood and/or waist can cause strangulation.  There have been no reported injuries.

This recall involves the following items:

The items were sold at the Hot Kids Store in Los Angeles and from wholesalers nationwide between June 2002 and January 2010 for $6-$15.

If you have one of the affected items you should immediately remove the drawstring to eliminate the strangulation hazard.  You can also return the clothing to Hot Kids for a full refund.  You may contact Hot Kids at 888-946-8546 between 9am and 5pm PT Monday through Friday or visit the company’s website at www.mejoong.com.
