Baby Rattles Recalled by Kid O Products
Kid O Products has announced a voluntary recall of approximately 1,500 baby rattles because they pose a choking hazard when the rattle’s beads come off when the rattle is twisted or pulled forcefully. There have been no injuries reported.
This recall involves the Prisma and Duo style wooden rattles with multi-colored beads. The Prisma is shaped like a bell with a looped handle. It has style number 10331 and measures 3 3/4” long. The package contains the word “Prisma” and the style number. The Duo has 2 interlocked rings with red and blue bead accents. the word “Duo” and style number 10333 are printed on the package.
The rattles were sold at specialty children’s stores nationwide between November 2010 and December 2010 for approximately $12.
If you have the recalled rattle, you should immediately take it away from children. You should return the rattle to the store of purchase for a full refund.
