The protect-a-bub car seat sunshade attaches to any car seat, and shields your baby from the sun and glare while in the car. We love that it is UPF 50+ and is made from breathable fabric, so that even if it’s hot out, your child wo’nt get overheated. It protects your child from 98% of the sun’s rays, and protects your baby from harmful UVA and UVB sun rays. The seat fits on most car seats including both forward and rear-facing seats. This product is for use in replacement of ever so popular car window shades that can obstruct the driver’s view, which can potentially create hazardous blind spots. It is important to note, however, that when using the sunshade, it will be more difficult to put your child in his or her seat, or remove them from the seat due to the shade’s side panels. Additionally, when the side panels are down, your child will not easily be able to look outside. We do, however like that the flaps are adjustable, which increase it’s versatility – you can adjust the flaps to protect the sun from shining on your baby at different angles this way. Also, we should caution that while it is not difficult to put the sunshade on, it is not as simple as it may seem and may not be ideal for those who move their car seats a lot.
