The Evenflo In the Garden Exersaucer Walk Around is a nice product to look into for your baby, because it is a safer alternative to walkers. We have displayed the Garden theme, but there are others available including farm and jungle themes however they do not provide mobility like the Garden. Basically, the ExerSaucer comes with two safety brakes which allow the Walk Around feature to be locked into one position, creating a stationary ExerSaucer. Unlocking the brakes allows your baby the ability to “walk” around, but because of its stationary pivot, it only moves in a 360 degree motion. This reassures parents that their baby is safe and sound – there’s no need to worry that baby could “walk” somewhere unsafe like stairs. You’d be surprised how far a little one can get, even for a moment such as going to get the phone.
The ExerSaucer comes with a variety of interchangeable toys. We love the bee that pulls out and makes a buzzing sound back. We also love the customizable family tree. Simply slip some family photos in the tree, and your baby can look at familiar faces while they play! How cute! The toys are made of different fabrics, textures and colors and with a variety of sounds too, which help baby reach developmental milestones. As always, we look for longevity in any product we review. The Evenflo ExerSaucer is no exception – we will note that it conveniently comes with three height adjustments to accommodate a growing baby. Parents – beware that the height adjustments can be slightly tricky to change. Finally, we love that the Evenflo ExerSaucer has a removable, machine washable seat.
To sum up, the ExerSaucer attempts to be the best of both worlds – provide mobility while achieving safety. While this item won’t provide the thrill of moving all over the house, it is great for those who want peace of mind.
